« Sakhalin Island - Extreme Engineering

We created animation for the 'Sakhalin Oil & Gas' episode of the Discovery Channel's "Extreme Engineering" series.  Sakhalin Island lies off the coast of Russia where an enormous infrastructure is being built to extract fossil fuels from a frigid corner of the Pacific.

Working with Powerderhouse Productions, we made some high-impact animated maps showing Sakhalin Island's location, as well as proposed pipeline routes to the southern tip of the island.
